[Before Interim Crits] 2014-3-13 Photo shoots for Barbour tearoom stuff

As mentioned in the report, a tiny Chinese style tea room will be inserted into the retail place. I was planning to create a menu for the tea we offered.
And the tea room should be feeling warm, friendly, authentic Chinese and high class.

Firstly, I bought some Chinese tea in Mystery Tea House in Preston centre in order to do some photo shoots in home.
I also bought some carpet paper in Granthams to be the background of my photo shoot.

After preparing the stuff, I started to find some inspiration online to see how other people do product’s shoot. Then I found the pictures below which let me make a decision.  A simple and clear shooting is necessary since it can make the product look high class and suit the brand concept.

After doing my research, I began to take some photo for my products. Here are the original photo I got.

When I first finished the shoot, I started to adjust the pictures in Photoshop to make it look like a menu. I cropped the picture to make it more focus on tea’s detail, and then adjust the contrast and colour to make it more clear and vivid. After doing the adjustment, I am going to add some words on the menu to explain different kinds of tea as well as using Chinese tea name to engage Chinese customers.

Finally, I did 5 different kinds of tea and a print adverts of the tea room.
